Michigan Merit Curriculum (PDF)
On April 20, 2006, Governor Jennifer M. Granholm signed into law one of the most comprehensive sets of high school graduation requirements in the nation called the Michigan Merit Curriculum. The Merit Curriculum replaces the Michigan President's Council High School Academic Preparation Chart. The Merit Curriculum will prepare students for a rigorous college curriculum. Students, check with the institution that you are interested in to see if they have additional curriculum requirements for admission, especially for specific degree programs.
